Desire Design House

Hi I'm Kayli, Interior Designer and business owner at Desire Design House in Perth WA. Desire Design House was founded in 2021 with a strong passion to support, encourage and provide busy mums with affordable Interior Design Services online and in person. ​ Why Design at home? ​ Design at home has the capability to not only enhance your environment but to also enhance your feeling of wellness! Our homes are a reflection and extension of ourselves and I believe that we should create spaces that speak to our values, personalities and family lifestyles. When we feel good in our environments we tend to invite others in to enjoy our home setting and this creates a deeper sense of connection along with many cherished memories! ​ Busy Mums and our homes Our homes are what we make them, although it can be difficult to get things done at home when we have work, children and our own wellness as busy Mums to focus on! I know I get this, I have been there and i know how it feels to be working hard and juggling the children without the support of family to help out! We have to see to everyones needs and somedays the cup we pour from is empty and with nothing to pour from we battle through each day as our own wellness declines and in turn so can our environments! With less and less time to even think of how we can implement style, design and aesthetic, our focus remains on our families, maintaining the home and when we can our own self care. Its tough and more than ever us busy Mums need to support each other! ​ Wellness and self care starts at home Part of my own self care whilst being a busy working mum has been designing at home, enhancing my environment, creating new spaces whilst always thinking about the next project to kept my wellness on track! I want to share my experiences, I want other busy Mums to have a focus to enhance their environments! I want other busy Mums to experience the fulfilment, joy and sense of achievement that comes with completing your own design at home! This was why I created Desire Design House!
